Front row seats to NYE fireworks

SECURE the best seats in the house to the annual Airlie Beach New Year's Eve fireworks display at the Whitsunday Sailing Club in their Bali hut.

Make a night of it with live music, fabulous food and delectable drinks. This is the prime spot to park up for the afternoon with the whole family or your party crew.

Miles Wood from the Whitsunday Sailing Club said the venue would provide the best seats in town for the Reef Festival's New Year's Eve fireworks show.

"With the same great food, service and views that the club always provides.”

The club is a favourite among locals and those passing through, so if you plan to come down for food, you should book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Dust off your dancing shoes as local band Sweet Alibis will be playing live music from 7pm onwards, with music well and truly into the new year.

All ages are welcome.

Mr Wood said there was a great grassed area along the foreshore for kids tire themselves out and witness the earlier family fireworks display.

The event is open to the public and the team at Whitsunday Sailing Club can't wait to ring in the new year with you.

Some of the fireworks will be launching from the beautiful Bali hut, so you are sure not to miss a moment of the action.

There is an earlier family fireworks show at 9pm and the midnight display provided by the Reef Festival committee, in partnership with the Whitsunday Regional council and other local businesses.

Don't miss out on the chance to dance the new year in with a priceless view.
