Lifeline window a dressy display

FOR those who have never seen the magic of Melbourne's Myer windows, do not despair.

Proserpine has its own window display attraction located right in the main street.

The brainchild of local woman Tammy Love, who has worked at the Proserpine Lifeline store for six years, the windows of the store are colour coded in a gloriously fashionable display each fortnight.

Following the season's lead, Tammy has dressed the windows for Christmas and even the Melbourne Cup.

That is, of course, if her creations don't sell out from within the display.

Currently themed in pink for Valentine's Day, the windows add a dash of style to the charity store in a bid to attract customers from out of town.

Lifeline manager Lyn Lewis said Tammy did a fantastic job of attracting interest in the shop.

"It's great to bring a bit of colour to the town and encourage people to support the Lifeline store.”
